Detailed help for potential problems with the game or server

Instalation instructions 
  1. Download either the patcher or full client from Downloads.
  2. Extract the files to your desired location.
  3. Run the patcher to update to the latest version.
  4. Create an account on our website
  5. Launch the game using launcher.exe (and then press Play button in the patcher), or use Vintara Online.exe and start your adventure! Please take note launcher.exe helps you to keep the client updated.
Potential issues and Q&A
  1. I can’t download the files, it stops right after I click the link, what to do?
    • It means that Windows has detected these files as viruses. Please head to Downloads to read why it happens.
    • You may need to add the file to your firewall’s whitelist to continue the download.
    • This is common for many private servers.
  2. I don’t believe those files are virus-free!
    • I am not forcing anyone to download them. Perhaps one day I will invest in getting the files certified, but for now, they will remain as they are. 
  3. I have lag in the game, everything seems to be very slow and choppy.
    • This server is based in Europe/Poland. If you are on a different continent, such as Southeast Asia or North America, your ping might be too high (200+ ms) for reliable gameplay. There are currently no plans to mirror the server to another continent.
    • Make sure your bandwith is free of heavy downloads when you play the game, in some cases even listening to online music may affect the gameplay, depending on your bandwith.
    • The game requires around 10-12 GB of RAM to be fully playable. If your PC has less than that, you might want to consider upgrading it.
  4. I can’t login with my third account at the same time! Why is that?
    • The server has an automatic script that kicks players using more than two accounts at the same time. Please check the Rules page for more information. This is to help keep the game balanced. 
  5. Why there is no warper, jobra or platinum skill NPCs?
    • That’s because job-change quests are bigger part of the game and I am trying to keep the original feeling of the game.
    • You can bypass the need for a warper by creating an account with an Acolyte class to memorize many field maps. Nearly all field maps can be saved.
  6. Are you going to launch WoE?
    • Definitely, but we need more guilds and active players first.
  7. Are you going to implement some other features in future?
    • Definitely, as long as they don’t affect the core gameplay too much. I am open to suggestions.
  8. Can I use aggro AI with my homunculus/mercenary?
    • You can, that is what the game allows us to do. However, any kind of automation scripts/botting is not allowed. Please go to Rules for details.
