Terms of Service

1. General Information The Service is a non-commercial project operated by a private individual using their best knowledge and skills. This is not a commercial entity and does not offer enterprise-grade security.

The Administrator operates a private game server based on the rAthena platform and provides access to it through this Service. The Administrator does not distribute or claim ownership of any game assets belonging to Gravity Interactive Inc.

A modified game client is made available solely to facilitate connection to the private server. It contains only the necessary information to connect (e.g., server IP). All official game assets remain the property of Gravity Interactive Inc. The Administrator does not claim any rights over these files.

No payments or donations are accepted. The Service is offered completely free of charge.

2. Definitions

• Service – The website and related infrastructure enabling user registration and access to the game server.

• User – Any individual using the Service.

• Personal Data – Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

3. Usage Terms Registration requires an email address. Providing a valid, real email address is recommended if the User wishes to be able to use the password recovery feature.

Users are expected to adhere to general netiquette, respect other players, and not attempt any unauthorized access or disruption of the Service.

The Administrator reserves the right to limit simultaneous logins to two accounts per User, based on their IP address.

4. Files and Copyright Any installation files or game assets remain the property of Gravity Interactive Inc.

A customized game client is provided only to simplify connection to the private server. It contains no original Gravity executable or asset content that is not publicly available. The provided modifications are limited to connection patches and do not include Gravity’s core game data.

The Administrator does not host or distribute official Gravity game data.

5. Security and Availability The database and server infrastructure are protected against unauthorized third-party access to the best of the Administrator’s ability. Users acknowledge that this is not a professional, enterprise-grade infrastructure.

Service availability may be temporarily impacted by force majeure events, such as hardware failure, DDoS attacks, or other circumstances beyond the Administrator’s control.

6. Data Controller The Data Controller is the private individual managing this Service. Contact can be made via the email address provided in Section 14.

7. Data Collected

• Email Address – Provided voluntarily during registration. A valid email is necessary for password recovery, but its verification is not enforced.

• IP Address – Collected during registration and login for security purposes and to enforce Service rules.

• Password – Stored in a hashed (encrypted) form, which is never visible to the Administrator.

8. Purpose of Data Processing

• To provide login functionality and account management (based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

• To ensure the security of the Service and detect abuse (based on on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

• To enforce server policies, such as multi-account limitations.

9. Legal Basis Data is processed based on:

• Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party (providing the login service).

• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – Processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller (ensuring security and preventing abuse).

10. Data Retention

• Email and Password – Stored for as long as the User’s account exists or until the Service is discontinued.

• IP Address – Stored for the duration necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in Section 8, primarily for security and policy enforcement. IP addresses are never shared with third parties or used for profiling.

11. User Rights Users have the right to:

• Access their personal data.

• Request rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing of their data.

• Object to data processing based on legitimate interest.

• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g., a national data protection office).

12. Cookies and Tracking This Service does not use cookies for marketing or analytics. No third-party tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics) are in use.

13. Changes to This Policy The Administrator reserves the right to modify this document. Any significant changes will be communicated to Users through the Service’s website.
